i saw this posted a while ago and saved it but when i looked closer i was disappointed. you can’t classify everything into 4 categories like that.
in general, people split psychoactive drugs in to three categories: stimulants, depressants, and psychedelics (hallucinogens). but psychatric medications are normally classified as antipsychotics, antidepressants, anxiolytics, stimulants, or depressants. i include mood stabilizers in antipsychotics, but that might not be
the label ‘anti-psychotic’ seems to include antipsychotics, antidepressants, and anxiolytics on this chart. glancing at it, i don’t see any psychiatric meds in the other categories.
the fact that cannabis is in the middle is annoying too. cannabis is not a drug, it’s a plant genus. everything else on the chart is a drug (with the exception of betel nut i think?). i’m wondering if whoever made this wanted to try and make it seem like cannabis was the ultimate mediator, and it’s just not fair to say that using this chart layout.
on that, cholinergics don’t seem to be in the right place either.
of course, the source is wikipedia. i’d be interested in making a chart like this with my ‘corrections’, although i may be wrong too. i’d have to find some legit sources, and i’m not sure if a venn diagram is the best representation. hmm.

jim was supposed to buy shroom chocolates but it fell through (again).
so instead it looks like he’s getting coke.
contemplating possible methods of ingestion.

crushing the boulder, chopping the pile, cutting a line.
exhale, face to the table, insufflate, lean back.
wooosh.
waves crash down.
he’s done a lot of coke. he likes coke.
jim is much more of an uppers person. about 4 years ago when he met my first coke connection, he fell in love.
in his peak usage, he would be doing about a gram a day. in order to pay for it he started dealing. but that was years ago.
he knows cocaine. not as well as he used to, but still pretty damn well. he can generally tell the cut from tasting it (and the drip, and how it feels in his stomach), but recently he’s been tasting cuts that he doesn’t know. it’s been a while since he’s constantly used though.
he got into IVing it. he loves a rush. he started to love shooting up too much though. he doesn’t even buy needles anymore, because he knows if he has them he’ll want to shoot up anything: coke, heroin, hell he’s shot up saline solution.
okay i’m losing focus. consider this part one in the history of jim’s drug use. more to come.
